Dunkertons is a family company started in 1979 by Susie and Ivor Dunkerton. Having escaped from London they set about trying to make a small holding of eighteen acres work. Cider was the answer. Herefordshire has one dominating cider company, but unlike Somerset has few farm producers. The Dunkertons saw an opportunity, realized their dream and have grown ever since. Their son Julian Dunkerton has become a Director and Martin Dunkerton is another sort of Director is in Hollywood. All Dunkertons products are certified organic by The Soil Association
